Bio
Gabriel Luce is a New York City-born pianist and composer. He has lived in NYC for his whole life, except for the time that he spent attending Binghamton University, where he graduated with honors, obtaining a degree in music composition and piano performance. He currently freelances actively in New York City with various artists in and out of the studio.
Gabriel also enjoys teaching. In 2009, he joined the music department at The Beacon School, a specialized public high school which offers an inquiry-based college-preparatory program with technology and arts infused throughout the curriculum. At Beacon he has taught choir, keyboard skills, band, and theater arts.
Gabriel is also a faculty composer and musical director at the Lucy Moses Summer Musical Theater Workshop. SMTW is a place where kids participate in all aspects of producing an original show show in a 5-week workshop, which culminates in a full-scale production at Merkin Concert Hall.
In his spare time (of which he has very little) Gabriel enjoys cooking and eating Italian food.
